Bulk Ship creates one shipment for each recipient in a list. Say who it goes to, describe the shipment once, and Shipping Center creates them all. A Bulk Ship you give a name to is a Campaign.

Open the Ship menu and choose Bulk Ship.

1. Say who it goes to

Use one or more of these tabs. What you pick on one tab is kept when you switch, and a recipient picked twice is shipped to once.

  • Saved groups: tick a group of recipients you saved earlier. This tab appears only if you have saved groups.
  • Address book: search and tick entries. This tab appears only if you have address book entries.
  • Type them: add recipients by hand. Add a recipient adds another row.
  • Upload a list: upload or paste a CSV file of recipients. This tab is on a computer only, not on a phone.

2. Describe the shipment once

Choose the location it ships from, the carrier and service, the packaging, the weight and dimensions. It applies to every recipient. Less common choices open from links: Add other contents, one per line, Add a reference for the bulk ship and Does this contain batteries?

You can also give the run a name in the optional Campaign name field. A named run is a Campaign.

3. Decide what happens when the carrier suggests a different address

  • Show me each one: every suggestion stops and asks you.
  • Accept them all: a standardized street and a ZIP+4 are applied without asking.

With Show me each one, every correction waits beside the original and nothing ships until you rule on it. With Accept them all, a different street, number, unit or town is not applied: the row keeps your address and is listed at the top of the bulk ship page without holding up the run. Either way, an address the carrier cannot match waits for you, and addresses outside the US ship as typed.

4. Run it

  1. If you uploaded a file, choose Preview the uploaded file to check how the rows were read, then Create the batch and check every address.
  2. Otherwise choose Check the addresses and create.
  3. On the bulk ship page, fix or accept any addresses marked Needs a look. Accept all suggestions takes every carrier suggestion at once. It asks first, and rows can still be changed until the bulk ship is released.
  4. Choose Release. Labels are bought 25 per press, so press Release again (it says Release next 25) until none are left.

Cancel leaves the screen without creating anything.

Campaigns

Open the Ship menu and choose Campaigns to see your named Campaigns. Unnamed Bulk Ship runs are under the Unnamed runs tile. Each shows when it started, who started it, what it is charged to, how many recipients, progress in plain words (for example "3 delivered, 8 in transit"), how many need attention, and the cost if your role shows prices. New campaign starts a new named run.

To build a saved group for next time, see Use the address book.
